We are the Kingswood Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A 4.5 mile walk around Ashton Court estate taking in woodland and grassland and including a walk through the Deer Park which is home to a herd of Red Deer, Britain’s largest land mammal. There will be mud and slippery spots in places so bring sticks if you need them.
A bit of a climb to start with but worth it when you get to the top with amazing views over Bristol. After that it is all flat or downhill. There are toilets and a café at the top serving hot drinks, cakes and other snacks, so we can stop for a quick break – or you can bring your own.
The Ashton pub is next door to the car park with free parking for customers. If it isn’t too busy (and we are not too muddy!), we can hopefully call in there for a drink afterwards.
