Join Jeff from Bath Ramblers for a dog friendly walk enjoying superb countryside views in and around Wellow.
Some uphill sections, and we will stop briefly at Stoney Littleton Long Barrow - one of the country’s finest accessible examples of a Neolithic chambered tomb. Dating from about 3500 BC, it is 30 metres long and access is permitted if walkers wish to look inside with a torch.
Walking boots recommended and you may find walking poles useful. Please bring your ICE (In Case of emergency) card, or ask the leader for one.
Please bring a drink and a snack for a refreshment stop during the walk.
Everyone welcome to join us for refreshments after the walk in the Fox and Badger, very close to the Station Road Car Park.
