Overview

A springtime wander around the north-western corner of Essex. Starting and finishing at Audley End Station, the walk follows a circular route along hedgerow paths that cross gently contoured fields, passing through occasional woodland (with possible bluebells on display), and dropping in on various idyllic hamlets and villages such as Strethall, Elmdon, and Chrishall.

Please bring a packed lunch. Optional pubs both along the way and at the end.

Travel: Take 9:28 from Liverpool Street (9:40 Tottenham Hale), arr. 10:30 Audley End.
