Logie Steading is a gorgeous hidden gem nestled in the woods around the River Findhorn. This extended circuit explores the course of the River Divie which flows through a lovely wooded gorge. There are waterfalls along the route and the ruins of a castle - as well as the cafe and superb bookshop at Logie Steading for after the walk. The trees along the river are spectacular in the autumn.
The nearest train or bus options are at Forres, approximately a 12-minute drive from Logie Steading. Please let the walk leader know if you would like to arrange to be picked up from Forres, would like a lift, or have any questions about the public transport options.
Toilets are available at the start and end of the walk. We will finish the walk with a visit to the cafe and a look around Logie Steading.
Please wear walking boots and bring layers and waterproofs. You may wish to bring a packed lunch or eat in the cafe after the walk, but it would be a good idea to bring snacks for the walk. Please bring water.
