Join us for an easy 4 mile amble round the parkland at Nostell, an 18th Century National Trust treasure house set in an historic landscape. Admire the autumn woodland colours, wander by the lake, and wonder who lived in Robert Adam’s Obelisk Lodge. Cafe/toilets available.
Meet by the welcome hut at the top of the footpath from the car park down to the house. Free parking for National Trust members, £5 per car for non members (only one member per car needed for free parking). The walk will be in the free to enter parkland, so no further admission fees unless you decide to visit the house afterwards. Toilets and cafe are in the stable block near the house, this is a ten minute walk from the car park, so please bear this in mind if visiting before we start walking. Dogs welcome but must be on a short, fixed lead. Dogs are not allowed in the house or gardens, cafe is dog friendly however. Cattle are present in some areas.
