Please bring lunch.   There is a great pub in Ovington on route, but there will not be time to order a meal, although I am sure we can make time for a quick drink.  Dogs are welcome ON LEADS only, but be aware there may be stiles.

Avington Country Park Car Park, Avington Park Lane, Winchester. If using the A31 from Farnham Follow the Alresford by pass until you reach the end. Take first left at the roundabout heading towards Winchester. You will need to cross the dual carriage way on the right, look out for the sign for Avington 2M and Itchen Abbas 2.5M, move into the slip road on the right and cross the carriageway at the brown sign for Park Golf Course and Avington Park. Drive until you come to first settlement on your right, there will be a finger post pointing left to Winchester, take this left onto Avington Park Lane. The car park is on the right. OS Map X132.
