Overview

Our walk will be taking us through Durford Wood, Rogate, Haben and Fyning Common, on the Sussex Border Path and Serpents Trail.  There will be plenty of mature sheltered woodland and heathland, with some great views after lunch.  The route is undulating and there are also some roads to be crossed.

There is a pub adjacent to the lunch stop, for a drink, but please bring a packed lunch.  Dogs on leads are welcome but there may be livestock in some of the fields.

Tullecombe Forestry Commission Car Park, Dangstein Road, Rogate Woods. The car park sign is on the gate on the left hand side. From Hill Brow, Liss, turn off the B2070 down by the Jolly Drover pub, signposted to Rogate. Drive 1 mile then straight over the crossroads towards Chithurst. The CP is on the LHS, through a gate by the sign Forestry Commission England Tullecombe. OS Map X133.
