Overview

Our walk will take us across the common, then around the back of the airport (which will include some of the old runway) and then on to the Castle Bottom Nature Reserve, where we might be lucky enough to see some of the ponies that live on the nature reserve.  There are a couple of short hills on the walk but no stiles to climb.  There is likely to be some avoidable mud and some unavoidable mud, especially if we have had recent wet weather.  Hopefully there will be plenty of bird life for us to spot and not forgetting the the odd light aircraft.
