Overview

Please book with the leader.

We leave Compton and head out to North Marden via Apple Down.  After coffee at the church we walk to Hooksway and ascend to the SDW through Philliswood Down. We'll follow the SDW to Pen Hill then turn south to Compton via Telegraph Hill. Picnic lunch. If the weather is good we should have great views from the SDW.

This is a hilly walk. Some of the tracks are chalk so may be slippery.
