This walk takes us out of South Harting up onto the South Downs Way. We will proceed east along the SDW and turn back on ourselves in a loop past Telegraph House and Round Down before dropping back down to the village. Steady climb initially up to SDW, couple of up and overs including Beacon Hill, at comfortable pace to take in the views.
Two stops for refreshment, picnic lunch. Poles always useful for walks on this terrain.
start from small carpark as you drive in from the south. There is a temporary traffic light there just now - carpark is on the left immediately in front of the traffic light. If busy, space available in Tipper Road off the other side of the road.
