Overview

The walk starts on flat fields towards Backwell Leisure Centre. We then climb the hill to Backwell church, then into Backwell Environmental Trust nature Reserves. The Jubilee stone is the highest point of the walk. We then go around the perimeter of the disused quarry, before descending to the A370 at the south end of Backwell. Then across fields towards Nailsea and Backwell Station and thence to the George Inn.
