We are the West Berkshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

This is a gently undulating walk along the paths, tracks and lanes to the southwest of Faringdon. Leaving the car park, we head southeast towards Great, then Little, Coxwell passing through to Fernham to reach Uffington. Skirting the village, we head west to pass Oxlease Farm before turning northwest along the D’Arcy Dalton Way to return to Badbury Hill via Longcot and Ashen Copse. The going is likely to be good but with some soft patches. The walk passes through some woodland and some of the hedgerows will provide shelter but otherwise the walk is very much in the open. There are 7 stiles in fair to good condition.
Please come prepared for the weather and conditions underfoot and bring sufficient food and drink for the day.
The walk is limited to 18 walkers, please book using the booking form by 6pm on 17th September.
Please park in National Trust, Badbury Hill carpark – free to members with their membership card, otherwise £4. Please car share if possible.
