Overview

Leaving the Falkland Cricket Club we will find a route through the nearby residential area of Wash Common, passing historic landmarks from the First Battle of Newbury. Heading northwards down into the Kennet Valley and then west through Skinners Green and across the A34 we cross fields to Enborne and Hampstead Park.
We will then head southwards past the All Angels vineyard to Avery’s Pightle and then return across fields to recross the A34 and up the hill to Round Hill and return to the car park.
