We are the Biddulph Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Our walk will commence in the market town of Bakewell - famous for its pudding. The route will include lanes, fields, woodland and riverside paths. Along the way we will pass through Bakewell Golf Course, the pretty hamlet of Edensor, the Chatsworth estate and Haddon Park. All hopefully in their autumn glory. Please bring along snacks, a packed lunch and refreshments. You may wish to take the opportunity to explore Bakewell at your leisure following the walk.
The walk is largely moderate but is quite strenuous at times
Toilet facilities accessible en route (Bakewell & Chatsworth).
Remember to pack your waterproofs, extra layers & gaiters.
Walking poles if desired.

Roadside parking, Stanedge Road. Close to St Anselm’s Preparatory School. Please be aware of car parking restrictions alongside and below the school. Car share recommended.
