Overview

From Baldwins Gate alongside a section of the busy West Coast Mainline before ascending to the woods of Maer Hills.

The path descends and goes past Maer Hall into pretty Maer village before returning to Baldwins Gate.

A very varied walk with many points of interest, mainly along good paths. There are several wooden stiles but mostly on good condition.
