Overview

Starting in Baslow, this walk features a short route through the border of Chatsworth Park before an ascent below Birchen Edge. It then contours along Blackstone Edge, Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge before dropping down to the River Derwent for a pleasant stroll back to Baslow. There are toilets in Baslow and cafes/pubs for refreshments. The views from the edges should satisfy the palate for anyone wanting a taste of the countryside.
