Overview

Join Jasvir on her first venture into Walk Leading when she sets of from Woodhouse Eaves to Beacon Hill and Broomsbrig Farm before returning to Woodhouse Eaves. The walk is 7.5 miles through beautiful countryside with great views from Beacon Hill.

Woodhouse Eaves is a relatively new village which was developed into a tiny Hamlet during the late 18th and 19th century, at the time of the Industrial Revolution. It is now a thriving village with local shops and a number of pubs. Beacon Hill is the site of a former Bronze Age hill fort and has a mixture of woodland, heathland ang grassland and is known for its diverse plant and animal life.
