Overview

We leave Kegworth along the Soar valley to visit Sutton Bonington and its optical illusion, Zouch and its eclectic group of waterside dwellings and Normanton on Soar with its chain ferry.

We leave the Soar to climb to the dizzy heights of 80m to walk through Limekiln Plantation and discover our lonesome trig.

Descending to the Kingston brook we pass through the pretty villages of West Leake and Kingston on Soar back to the start.
