We are the Mortimer Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the car park we cross pastures, use tracks and footpaths for an 8.5 mile walk - with fabulous open views and the whistle of trains in the distance. The water of Chelmarsh Reservoir come into view as we make our way to Hampton Lode Station to catch the train to return to Highley Station (a three mile journey) and back to the car park.
Ticket price is £3.50 - subject to change , depending on engine!
Note 9.30am start to ensure we are back in time to catch the train.
