A walk to an isolated loch past a spectacular waterfall before climbing steeply to the summit of Beinn Lochain.

Follow good estate tracks and hill paths to the Curra Lochain and then steeply up the open hillside to the summit of Beinn Lochain.  Descend west to the col and then continue to the minor summit of Cruach na Cioba.  Descend southeast to pick up the Cowal Way and return to start.

Terrain:  Estate tracks and pathless, open hillside with some steep ascents.

Max height:  703 m.
