We are the Guildford Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
Starting at the Avenue de Cagny car park opposite the cricket ground we continue through commons and woods onto Merrist Wood campus. Then walking part of the Fox Way to a golf course and tree tunnel. Back into woodland, a board walk and the Ash Ranges to arrive at the Stanley Memorial in Pirbright Village. No stiles and 98% flat.
From Guildford take the A322 through Worplesdon. Turn left at Fox Corner roundabout into Heath Mill Road. Turn left again into Guildford Road. Follow Guildford Road to the roundabout junction with Aldershot Road continuing on Guildford Road. At the Green in Pirbright turn right into The Green and then left into Avenue de Cagny. The car park is on the left.
