Overview

A circular walk starting from Bingham Town centre at the church. Parking on the roadside near here, or in the main Bingham car park behind the doctors ( charges apply here). We take the footpath from the railway line, across fields to the village of Scarrington, with its famous horseshoe stack. Coffee break at the church here. Then the footpath to Car Colston and back to Bingham by the lakes path. Lunch at the end at Bingham church or Wetherspoons.

Mostly flat on well marked paths. Leisurely. Toilets and refreshments at beginning and end. Bring coffee/drinks and packed lunch, if you want to sit in the churchyard and eat at the end.

Please register for this walk on Newark ramblers website where you will also find details of our car share scheme.
