We are the York Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
The walk starts at the bus stop at Birdforth and goes across fields, along tracks and quiet roads to Easingwold via Carlton Husthwaite and Husthwaite. There are several stiles (some a bit rickerty) and it will be muddy in places. There maybe livestock in fields so no dogs please. There are plenty of refreshments in Easingwold.

Catch no30 Reliance bus from Station Rd at 8.55 or Exhibition Sq at 9.00 (to Thirsk) alighting at Birdforth at 9.45am. The Reliance bus sometimes leaves Station Rd early so be there in plenty of time if getting on at this stop. There is a regular bus service back to York.
