Overview

From Grimston Bar P&R, we'll skirt the uni velodrome, enjoying glimpses of rabbits while birdsong drowns out traffic noise.  Then lots of lovely trees and wildflowers, country lanes and paths around fields.  The Rabbit Warren Wood might still be full of rhododendrons, and very muddy if wet, as well as overgrown both underfoot and overhead, so we'll probably enjoy it from the footpath.  Even on a dry mid-May recce day, the ground was a bit too boggy for trainers.

We continue to Kexby church for the bus ride back to York, or you can wait at Scoreby Lodge if you've had enough by then.
