Overview

An epic lake district walk, starting at Mungrisdale and covering five wainwright's; Souther fell, Blencathra, Mungrisdale common, Bannerdale crags and Bowscale fell.

The walk is 10.7 miles long and has 3200 feet of ascent.

The terrain is very varied on this walk and therefore walking poles are invaluable and fully waterproof footwear is essential.
