A 4.5-mile circular walk through the stunning ancient woodland of Banstead Woods, discovering its hidden secrets and natural wonders. Highlights are the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe trail, fantastic display of bluebells (nature’s calendar permitting!), and panoramic views across the Mole valley. May be some mud after rain. Some gentle ascents, but we’ll pace these as needed.
Bring a picnic lunch. Toilets on train, none at station; wild toilets only en route apart from cafes in the village at the end. Should finish around 15.30
