We are the London Strollers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
An easy four-mile walk almost entirely alongside the Lee Navigation. This interesting section has a vibrant canal community, evidence of the 2012 Olympics, arts and crafts and even a large salmon processing plant with a long history of smoking salmon. We pass Abbey Mills and walk part of The Line, a modern sculpture trail. A late lunch stop will be made at Cody Dock where there is a cafe and toilets. Unfortunately the towpath beyond Cody Dock is still blocked off so we will divert to Cody Lane station. Should finish by about 15.00.

Hackney Wick station (Zone 2: Overground - Mildmay Line, trains from Stratford, Highbury & Islington, Richmond and Clapham Junction). Meet outside the front of the station by the concrete seating blocks. There are no toilets at the station
Star Lane station (Zones 2/3: DLR- one stop from Canning Town on the Jubilee Line or four stops from Stratford)
