Lots of variety on this popular edge of Moor route through woodland, beside the water, crossing fields and around the churchyard in the hope of seeing bluebells, and with a stop at The Royal Oak just before the finish. Plenty of places to explore and water to wade in, so boots or wellies a must for stepping stones and muddy fields and woodland paths. Picnic lunch along the way as well as pub stop for drinks etc.
Several stiles , two or three quite high . Fields and woodland could be wet and muddy.
