Overview

This is a circular walk beginning at Wheal Kitty, St Agnes. We will be following some of the paths cleared by the Ramblers under the leadership of Bob Fraser and taking members past his recently installed memorial bench.

The route begins by walking up the Jericho Valley then along muddy paths and lanes to the Beacon, the highest point of the day. We finish by walking the coast path back to our cars.

This walk is being jointly led by Dougie Johns and Liam Reinhardt.

Follow signs for Wheal Kitty. Free parking. Leaving St Agnes heading west, drive straight through the roundabout. Then the turn is a short distance up the road on your left: it's easy to drive past but there is a signpost.
