We are the Rushcliffe Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
This walk begins at a free car park and is mainly on quiet country lanes. There are however some steep hills up tarmac lanes. We walk through a small ford, so waterproof shoes are needed. We then walk through Wirksworth and through some fields with cows to join the High Peak Trail. We will have lunch at Middleton Top Visitor Centre and then back along lanes to return to Alport.
