We are the Kensington, Chelsea and Westminster Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Moderate to brisk 9.4 mile/15.1km walk with negligible ascent. About 3.5 to 4 hours of walking.
Sunset is at 16.34 hours, so light for walking until 17.10.
Route: A3002 SE then south through Boston Manor past lake and through wood to River Brent/Grand Union Canal; river path downstream towards Brentford under M4 then across footbridge and walking upstream along Brent, following Capital Ring to Osterley then left along Grand Union Canal past the famous Hanwell Flight of Locks and Three Bridges site (Brunel): route through canalside park and north across a freight line/Great Western Mainline to A4020. Through West Middlesex Golf Club back to River Brent and Brent Lodge Park; downstream through meadows and under the picturesque Wharncliffe Viaduct back to Boston Manor Station (dropout option here) and on through Elthorne Park Nature Reserve, across Blondin Park to Northfields Station.
Lunch: no scheduled stop - plenty of cafés and pubs en route (or bring snack) ‐ leader will adjust to suit the group's wishes.
Meet at Boston Manor Station (exit hall) at 10.45. Toilets should be open!
Finish: Northfields Station.
Travel: Boston Manor (Zone 4) and Northfields (Zone 3) - Piccadily Line.
