We are Coalville Ramblers - a friendly group based in the heart of the National Forest. We offer a programme of 3 walks each week, from 5 miles to 10 plus.

The walk will be along public bridleways & footpaths (mixture of tarmac, & grass) running alongside the golf course & within the National Forest. Some paths may be muddy & uneven.
Some pics of when I last walked this route earlier this month, let’s hope we get the same blue skies on 4th December.
Please park at the far end of the Golf Club car park away from the Club House main entrance.
To allow for free parking I have told the Manager that I (& hopefully some other ramblers) will call in after our walk for a drink.
Parking at Forest Hill Golf Club Markfield Lane Botcheston LE9 9FH - Approaching from the A50 at Markfield turn onto Launde Road at Markfield from the Field Head roundabout, stay on this road for 2.5 miles which becomes Thornton Lane, then becomes Markfield Lane & Forest Hill Golf Course is on the left after 2.5 miles. Please park at the far end of the Golf Club car park away from the Club House main entrance.
