A short evening picnic walk from Hinchwick. The walk will take us up through beech woods onto the open grassland of Bourton Downs. We will descend gradually into the meandering dry valley and take a picnic break at about 7.30pm (unless wet) before returning to the start along the open valley as dusk approaches.
Please bring a picnic. If cold or wet we may decide to complete the walk before eating although there will be a snack and drink break along the way.
Parking on roadside verge just east north east of T junction at Hinchwick. Use postcode only for approximate location. Beware of potholes if approaching from A424 near Troopers Lodge.
