Walk from Boxgrove village hall car park to Boxgrove priory, where we will have time to visit the beautiful 12th century church. We then walk on pavements, open fields and paths and climb up to Halnaker Mill. After Halnaker mill we follow paths and open fields back to the car park and the cream tea at the village hall. Some of the paths are challenging, long sleeves and trousers to protect from the nettles and brambles are advised. Apart from the climb to the Mill the walk is mostly flat with one stile.
Picnic Yes (cream tea details see below)
Well behaved dogs welcome
Optional cream tea/home made cakes are served 2pm to 5pm at Boxgrove Village Hall (£6 or £4), to raise funds for Boxgrove priory. I am not sure if you can pay by cash or card, please bring both to be sure.
Teas are served on a first come first served basis, no booking.
