Circular walk mainly on open access land with some good views overlooking Kington and beyond following the contours of three hills plus some sheep/cow fields and a bit of woodland. The walk starts with a climb to the golf course on Bradnor Hill, not steep just a bit long. After that we pick up the Offa's Dyke long distance path including walking along a part of Offa's Dyke itself as it crosses Rushock Hill. We then drop down to circle around Herrock Hill where there were some good spots for lunch. Finally there is a big curve around Rushock Hill back to the start.
There are some steepish slopes that could be muddy so bring poles if you use them, boots are a must! During the recce there were a couple of patches of fallen crab apples which was like walking on marbles, in other places there were fallen branches to navigate and a fair amount of (dead) Bracken. There are a couple of styles to climb, one of which was a bit wobbly.
Remember to bring your lunch and something to drink water/coffee/tea/water. I don't want anyone getting dehydrated so bring plenty of water.
