Overview

A WALK DESCRIPTION: Approx 11miles, Total ascent: 1768ft. This walk is circular from the village of Elmley Castle.  We follow the lane past the pub before turning north-west towards Great Comberton, then south to ascend Even Hill.  At the top we go W along Bredon Hill to the Tower which offers excellent views to the north.  After a break here, we continue along the ridge then the walk gradually drops down south-south west past The Warren.  The King and Queen Stones will be seen as we continue to descend to Kemerton for our refreshment stop with pub. We then continue south through the village past the Church and then walk mainly east before a steady climb up onto Bredon Hill again, via Overbury Park and along The Belt.  Our final descent passes through Plantation, Castle Hill and Fiddler’s Knap back to Elmley Castle.
