We are the Huntingdonshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
A linear walk starting at Milton Park and Ride. Visiting and crossing all the public bridges over the River Cam within the city boundary and finishing at Drummer Street bus station to take the bus back to the start point.
The lunch stop will be on Jesus Green Public. There are a number of places where coffee, cakes and snacks can be purchased if you do not want to bring a packed lunch.
We start our walks at 10.00am unless stated. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand if you can. The duration of a walk includes time for drink and lunch breaks. Please ensure that you bring sufficient water, drinks and food (picnic lunch) to sustain you during the walks. Walk leaders will explain stops for drinks and lunch at the start of a walk.
Do consider the length of a walk, the weather and likely ground conditions to ensure you are fit enough and have appropriate footwear and clothing. If in doubt, contact the walk leader for advice.
Leaders make every effort to ensure your safety, but we expect members and guests to take care to minimise the risk of accidents.
All “Registered Assistance Dogs” are welcome on the walks with their owner. Please contact the walk leader.
