We are the Huntingdonshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

We start with a short distance along the street then turn off and make our way to Riseley Lodge Farm, on across fields and field edges to a good track along a ridge with views all round.
We carry on to Manor Farm, Pertenhall then loop round to make our way back on field edges to Coldham Lodge Farm, with luck having found somewhere pleasant for the lunch break en route.
We take the farm track to the road which we cross and walk field edges to the village centre and finally back to the start.
The Fox and Hounds will be a welcome haven after the walk.
We start our walks at 10.00am unless stated. Please arrive 15 minutes beforehand if you can. The duration of a walk includes time for drink and lunch breaks. Please ensure that you bring sufficient water, drinks and food (picnic lunch) to sustain you during the walks. Walk leaders will explain stops for drinks and lunch at the start of a walk.
Do consider the length of a walk, the weather and likely ground conditions to ensure you are fit enough and have appropriate footwear and clothing. If in doubt, contact the walk leader for advice.
Leaders make every effort to ensure your safety, but we expect members and guests to take care to minimise the risk of accidents.
All “Registered Assistance Dogs” are welcome on the walks with their owner. Please contact the walk leader.
Park considerately wherever a walk starts from. We sometimes have large numbers attending walks, so it is important not to cause congestion for residents. Please car share as much as possible – Use the WhatsApp group to arrange sharing. Only use public house or private car parks where the leader has arranged for this or where you intend to patronise an establishment after the walk.
Meet near the Fox and Hounds, Riseley. People intending to go in for a drink after the walk may use the car park, parking at the back, please. Others will find plenty of street spaces.
