Overview

A second chance to do this circular walk from Hathersage following in the footsteps of Charlotte Bronte's characters that rises up to Stanage Edge with it's views over the Hope Valley.

The walk starts by the seats and public WCs on the Main Road in Hathersage centre.

We then go via Brookfield Manor and North Lees upto Stanage Edge. Walking along the Edge before descending to Hook's Carr and Carhead Rocks. Through the Moorseats Estate, to the Church and back to the village centre for our bus (or train) home.

Paths are mostly good, but could be rough and muddy or have surface water in places after recent weather. There are No stiles.
