Overview

We will set off with a gradual ascent over Loxley Common to Low Ash, then continue on mainly level paths to Spitewinter Farm, roads and paths to Oughtibridge avoiding difficult stiles. Lunch, toilets and break off point at Oughtibridge Park (4 miles) We continue through Beeley Wood and Middlewood Park on good paths to tram stop.

NOTE: The 57a bus at 9.51 (Middlewood 10.12) will not be stopping on Paternoster Rd or Flat St. Instead it will go from Moor Market, Eyre St along Arundel Gate and stop on Angel Street (the top stop) So please catch at MOOR MARKET or ANGEL STREET. Get off at Worrall Rd, Wadsley, after Sportsman PH and just after Rural Lane on left.(leader meeting bus)

Finish at either Oughtibridge or Middlewood Tram stop. Take away cafe next to Tram stop.
