The walk starts from Llanharan Railway station car park, and travels along the Nature Reserve/community path viewing the history of the area and the brilliant sculptures. We will leave the nature reserve at an intersection to cross the railway line on the new overbridge. We join the main road and have a pavement walk to reach the access onto the former Llanharan tip. f your are looking to purchase a house in the area you will have an opportunity to view the new housing before returning to the start.
There are a number hazards such as loose stones, crossing the main road, tree routes. Walking shoes are suitable for this walk.
