Overview

Starting in the Rock of Ages we walk along the footpath leading up to East twin Swallet and onto  the Limestone Link National Trail.  We then pick up a footpath leading up to Beacon Batch where if the weather is good we get great views, then onto Charterhouse Farm, then we pick up on the West Mendip Way to Black Rock and into Cheddar where we get treated to great views across the gorge.  We then head up onto Tuttors Hill and the edge of Batts Coombe Quarry then we head across fields and tracks back towards Tyning's Farm and back up onto Black Down, heading towards the woods at Rowberrow Warren where we follow forestry tracks back down towards the Limestone Link and back to the start.

The Terrain is rugged under foot in many places and there are several steep Ascents and Descents section, steps, fields and little road walking.
