Driving through Glespin there is one significant road on your right running down to Crawfordjohn. Take this road for just over a mile and beyond a point where a minor road merges from your left. Exercise caution at this junction, but continue on for about a quarter mile, and you will spot a signpost indicating Glantaggert to your right. Follow this road out beyond Glentaggert farm. The road has been widened at this area to allow forestry lorries to pass each other. Simply park on the right side of the road where it is obviously clear enough. Do not drive far beyond the farm, as that will shorten the walk.
