Overview

From the start point, it’s uphill all the way to Baslow Edge. Once we’ve got the ascent over with, we walk along Baslow Edge, Curbar Edge and Froggatt Edge before descending through Hay Wood to Grindleford.

Then it’s a nice riverside walk along the Derwent Valley Heritage Way through Froggatt and back to Calver Bridge.

Bridge Inn pub for drinks at the end.
