Overview

Maria & Dave will be leading us on a walk through one of the prettiest parts of the Chase, including Brocton Coppice, the Stepping Stones & Haywood Slade to Seven Springs, where we will stop for a short lunch break. 

We then take a more direct route back to the Stepping Stones and then return to our starting point at Milford.

Please bring your own refreshments.

The Cutting (AKA the German Cutting), off Brocton Road, Milford, Stafford, ST17 0UB. Coming from Milford Common, take the road towards Brocton. Immediately after Sister Dora Nursing Home (now "Dora Rose" Care Home), take the track to your left and continue towards the car park at the far end. PLEASE NOTE - you may find the postcode for Dora Rose Care Home is more accurate - ST17 0UH. PARKING CAN BE A BIT TIGHT, SO PLEASE CONSIDER CAR-SHARING. THERE IS ALSO SPACE AT THE NEXT CAR PARK ALONG BROCTON ROAD (GOLF GREEN CAR PARK). A 200YD HOP THROUGH THE TREES WILL BRING YOU TO THE CUTTING CAR PARK.
