We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

Starting from Sugnall Walled Gardens ( parking across the road in the business centre car park). We take a short walk along the road entering the permissive path through the woods to the left. We then continue across the fields and a couple of stiles around the back of Copmere. Beware of the muddy areas around the field gates and may be some cattle!! We then continue along the road passing the Star public house and on towards Walk Mill. We could take an early coffee break along this road or we could walk on further through Walk Mill to the boardwalk at Jackson’s Coppice & Marsh Nature Reserve for a more prolonged break. We will then continue along the lanes back, partly uphill, to the Sugnall Gardens. The cafe at the garden centre is unfortunately shut so we could meet at a pub down in Eccleshall instead. Bring some refreshment for the break if you like.

Directions
Heading from Eccleshall church on the B5026. After 2.4 miles take a sharp left turn at Sugnall cross roads ( take care as this turn is easily missed) sign posted Sugnall Business Park. The car park is first right after the business park buildings.
