We are the Mid Staffordshire Ramblers. We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.

From the roadside parking we climb to the top of the Roaches from the south east side. We walk past Doxey Pool then have a brief stop at the trig point for photographs. We than start the descent past Bear Stone Rock. We will have a short coffee break at the end of the Roaches.
We then turn right, past the end of Roaches School & go down a single track to reach Black Brook. We will stop for lunch just before Goldsitch House. We then proceed to Hazel Barrow along a quiet road & then across tracks back to the start.
Walking poles may be in order as this is over uneven ground & some soggy areas under foot. There are 6-7 stiles.
Please arrive in plenty of time as the free road side parking gets busy.
