This rural walk is mostly on paths over lush green fields with mainly flat terrain and some lovely views. Leaving Castle Ashby we will pass through Denton and Yardley Hastings where we will stop for refreshments at The Pudding Parlour. Then through Easton Maudit where Derek Nimmo, the famous character actor lived, and whose final resting place is the Churchyard. We continue to the lovely village of Grendon and back to Castle Ashby where there is a cafe and toilets in the little rural shopping centre.
There’s about 10 stiles. Some parts can be muddy after heavy rain.
