We are the Northampton Group (Ramblers Northampton). We open the way for everyone in our local community to enjoy the pleasures of walking.
We set off along the canal towpath through the countryside south of Bugbrooke and turn north through part of the village, heading for the Bugbrooke Mills/Heygates. We then follow the Nene Way through lovely meadowland to the green at Nether Heyford. We return to Bugbrooke through a series of small fields.
There are 5 stiles. There maybe cattle in a couple of fields so assistance dogs only please. A small section of road with no pavement but there is a verge.
We have permission to use the Wharf car park, Bugbrooke, if staying for a drink/lunch. Street parking nearby. We can pre-order lunch from 9.30am so allow time for that please.
