A circular walk starting from the Upper Car Park in Castle Combe. We will make our way via fields, lanes, and a quiet valley to the attractive village of Biddestone, where we will have a lunch break beside the duck pond. After lunch we will head towards Slaughterford, then follow the By Brook to Ford. From there we walk through woods, fields and lanes to reach the village of Castle Combe, and a short climb back to the car park.
There are about three ascents on this walk. There should be some fine views and some nice autumnal colours too. There are about 16 stiles.
